Most Asked Questions About The Ultimate Yard Sale.
 
How much does it cost to sell my odds and ends at the yard sale?
$30.00 for each 12ft x 12ft. space reserved when selling household odds and ends.
$75.00 for each 12ft x 12ft space reserved when selling mass manufatured products or professionally made products such as crafts.
 
Where is the yard sale?
Cumberland Fair Grounds, 197 Blanchard Rd. Cumberland, ME.
 
Are Pets Welcome?
No. Only seeing eye dogs are permitted for the safety of other sellers and patrons.
 
When can we set up?
Saturday, June 9th, 2012 between 5:30am and 8:00am only. If you do not arrive to set up by 8:00am you will forfeit your right to sell and your registration fee.
 
If I reserve more than 1 space are they next to each other?
Yes
 
When can we leave the yard sale?
All Sellers must stay until 2pm. No vehicles can be brought onto the (selling area) until the event is officially closed.
 
I’m a business and want to sell my product at the yard sale who do I talk to?

Will there be food and drinks for sale at the Yard Sale?
Yes
 
Will there be restrooms?
Yes
 
Will there be handicap parking?
Yes
 
Is there an admission to enter the yard sale?
$5 for everyone 12 and older. Everyone under 12 is free.
 
Will there be emergency services available?
Yes. Both the Fire Department and Police Department will be on the grounds at all times.
 
Where does the registration fee to sell at the yard sale go to?
To cover the expenses and marketing of the yard sale.
 
How many people attend the yard sale as customers?
We average about 5,000 people over a 5 hour period.
 
Are we allowed to have our vehicles on the field while selling our stuff?
No. There will be reserved parking for all sellers. We will allow vehicles on the selling area to set up only.
 
I’m I allowed to have an e-z up tent?
Yes. As long as it fits within your reserved area.
 
What if it rains on Saturday, June 9th, 2012?
The yard sale will be moved to Saturday, June 16th, 2012.
 
Can I pay my registration fee by credit card?
Yes. All registration fees will need to be paid online
 
Can I sell anything I want at the yard sale?
No. Nassau Broadcasting reserves the right to prevent the selling of anything we feel is inappropriate for all ages and dangerous to the general public. No weapons of any kind are permitted
 
Can I sell food or drinks at the yard sale?
No. Only licensed vendors that are approved by the Cumberland Farmers Club and the town of Cumberland are permitted to sell food and beverages.
 
 
How do I know where my space is when setting up?
The Yard Sale staff will set sellers up as they arrive. There are no reserved or set spaces spaces for sellers prior to the Yard Sale
